The colonnade of St. Isaac's Cathedral is perhaps the best viewing platform in St. Petersburg. A postcard-like and mesmerizing 360-degree view opens from above. You can climb to the top of the colonnade via an internal staircase, climbing 211 steps, where you will find a magnificent panorama of the entire central part of the city.
Today, the St. Isaac's Cathedral State Memorial Museum is a universally recognized All-Russian cultural center, a multifunctional museum institution that creates a special atmosphere of a modern museum for visitors. New expositions, exhibitions and sightseeing projects are being created in the museum, sacred music is played under the arches of temples, social and cultural events and scientific forums are held. St. Isaac's Cathedral is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List.
